Dana Baba, DDS

Dr. Dana M. Baba grew up in Simi Valley, CA and developed a passion for dentistry when she was fifteen. She was impressed by the power of transforming smiles and loved that dentistry provides the ability to build long-term relationships with patients. She got her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley while also maintaining her focus on the Pre-Dental track. Dr. Baba then attended the prestigious University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and graduated with High Honors.

A true public servant, Dr. Baba is currently a commissioned Officer in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant Commander in the Dental Corps and has been serving on Active Duty since 2016. Dr. Baba joined Regents Dental Group in 2021 and has enjoyed the ability to provide dental care to the La Jolla Community. Dr. Baba's practice philosophy is to offer compassionate patient-centered care founded in evidence-based dentistry. Through her membership with the San Diego County Dental Society, she continuously learns the best techniques to offer her patients world-class care.

Dr. Baba has been married to Phillip, a Navy veteran and paramedic, since 2021 and they adore their wonderful dog and two cats. When not working with her two dental clinics, Dr. Baba is also a two-time champion visual technician at the Royal Regiment Marching Band at Rancho Bernardo High School. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, running, reading, and traveling.
